Nestled in an idyllic setting alongside the Karpenisiotis River, in the village of Gavros and just a short distance from Karpenisi on the road to Prouso, lies the trout farm Freskos.
Our focus primarily lies in the processing of smoked products, featuring a variety of delicacies including whole smoked trout, plain and marinated smoked trout fillets, and a novel creation under trial, the trout paste, an exquisite trout mezze!
Nevertheless, the nutritional value of trout is particularly remarkable. It serves as a natural source rich in Omega-3 and unsaturated fatty acids, combating free radicals within the human body. Whether it's a grilled trout or a smoked fillet, each dish offers a nutritious and satisfying meal.
